What are you listening to right now?

Because it is giant and always there. Also, syfy advertises their other shows a lot in the bottom area of the screen... and, at the beginning, there's this MASSIVE box proclaiming that the show has a 14 rating.

In short, I want the show in HD but I don't have a bluray player.

Ah, yeah, the bottom of the screen ads are a major pain. Very distracting. Those I can see paying money to avoid. The logos I've more or less learned to tune out, except when they're blocking part of the action.

I can block out the opaque ones. The Syfy logo is not opaque.

edit: wtf self it is not antonym time! I can block out the translucent ones, which Syfy is not. Syfy is quite opaque.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. And no worries, I know from long weeks. Slept until nine this morning and I still feel exhausted. Need to find a quiet corner and fall over for a couple of days... yeah, when I get time off work. (snorts)

The upcoming holiday season means it'll probably be January by the time I get a quiet week again. Ugh. I need more earplugs.

Myself, cheering and dancing around like an idiot, because, come April, I will be listening to BON JOVI live in concert. Two words: HELL YES.

Bleach 245 in the original Japanese (thank the gods for subtitles!) on YouTube. Yeah... running about 90 eps ahead of what's airing on Cartoon Network. And admittedly that comes dubbed and not subbed, but I like the Japanese voice actors (seiya? Is that the right term?) better.

Seiyū. Yes, I had to look that up - I knew that you were slightly wrong but I couldn't remember the actual word. Not that anyone would care but us.

Subs > Dubs.

Considering that I didn't look that up, I was pretty darn close.

The one objection I have to seiyū is the guy who does Yami Bakura's voice in YGO... he's freakishly high-pitched and girly.

Yeah, but the concentration if high pitched girly boys/girls in dubs is higher.

Most of the dubbed females are pretty ear-piercing (MisaMisa, anyone?), but the funny thing is that Naruto's English voice is a woman, and I believe his seiyū is as well. (imagines Naruto's reaction if he ever discovered that and snickers)

Actually, it's a line of work I'd love to get into.... I've always loved animation (still do, obviously) and it seems like it would be incredible fun to give voice to a character like that.
