You're pathetic. And I mean that in the most inoffensive way possible, but really. You're pathetic.

Nikki, *everyone* has meh down to an art form when they're fourteen. It's called being a teenager.

I thought the point of 'meh' was to avoid doing things like taking yourselves to new levels?

There is a current cancelled series in the process of moving to TNT. This series was cancelled with several episodes still in the post-production phase though. One of the producers quickly shopped the remaining episodes around before the official announcement was made, and he was able to sell them off to TNT with the option to pick the series up from there. TNT is currently running promos for the TNT première of the series. I guess TNT is going to give an order for more episodes.

TNT will almost always be an option IMO.

That's, ah... Southland, right? I did hear about that.

TNT is, and has always been, one of my top choices as far as cable networks is concerned. EH certainly fits the bill of their tagline, 'We know drama,' and they do air several shows that I have enjoyed over the years.

I forgot to mention the title, whoa! I have been kind of far out recently. Yes, the title is Southland.

I would love to be able to use that excuse, but I do not personally observe or celebrate these holidays. Bah, humbug! :P I am not really a scrooge as a person, but I have seen too many nonsense arguments and attacks online to stay away from anyone's belief. I do not really care where your beliefs lie, and I am certainly not going to attack people on the basis of their beliefs. It is not productive or logical to go back and forth on the internet in this manner. People must believe in whatever is right for them. This goes for a wide range of different topics as well, not excluding the worst of the lot, politics!!!

I like to think of myself as a friendly person in the real world, and I am not going to be rude to someone that greets me just because I do not celebrate their chosen holiday. I find it much better to just go with it. Why should I create an awkward scene and spoil their pleasant mood? I am not out to prove a point. end rant.
That came out of nowhere.

The real reason, I have been undergoing my management plan for a kidney stone. I am still pretty far out. I haven't slept in almost two days, and I am as hydrated as a river after a flood. I haven't resorted to using drugs yet either. This makes me glad that I do not celebrate this string of holidays. I could not handle entertaining house guests this week. We will probably already be into the next decade before I regain a healthy outlook.

Ooh, you have my sympathies. My entire family is sadly prone to kidney stones, and my mother has already had to have surgery twice to remove larger ones.

And Re: the holiday/religion thing? I'm an agnostic leaning towards paganism... and yet celebrate Christmas anyway. Go figure. It's all in the spirit of love and giving for me... religion has long since ceased to enter into it. But 'Peace on Earth, goodwill towards men'? That I can do.

Also, RANT = Release All Negative Tension. :D Good for your health. Although I can't promise it'll do anything for kidney stones.
