(laughs) The one where Janeway and Paris went transwarp and turned into lizards. And yes, most idiotic episode *ever.* I mean, srsly, lizards???

I imagine so have Janeway, Chakotay, Paris, and Torres. Because frankly, it was disturbing.

Honestly... Janeway/Paris? Sooooooo wrong. Even if they were lizards.

Ooo oo ooo!

Best part about that episode?

Fic in which THE KIDS COME BACK. Helpful aliens realise that they're in an unnatural state, turn them back into humans and DELIVER THEM TO JANEWAY IN INDIANA.

BUt that's completely backwards... the kids aren't in an unnatural state, given that J & P's DNA was mutated when they... were conceived... so even though the parents are naturally human, the kids aren't... I don't think. Really, the whole situation was backwards, so it's hard to say.

Where did you even find that fanfic?? And how crackish is it??

Dude, they're an insanely advanced species who were mostly pissed that people abandoned them on that planet. It's A) Trek and B) fanfic - good enough explanation for me.

As for where I found that fanfic? Hell if I know - it coulda even been the waybackmachine. As for its crackishness... It actually had a pretty low crack content and was a lot of insanely weird angst. I think I actually read a few fic with the same premise.

LOL!
It had OK numbers, still needs better ratings for a renewal.

I really like this show, why do I have to suffer for the shows I like?

After what happened to EH...who did have the numbers...I am afraid to get excited about any show...they tend to head for the chopping block. TF is not bad but I still have not been able to bond with it like I did EH. Really havent bonded with any new show...see what CBS has done to me! I will continue to support any SG efforts though.

Oh, definitely, me neither. Eleventh Hour is a very special show and I'm still very sad of the cancellation and what could've been for this show. I'm sure EH could've been the next hit had CBS ordered a second season, but they chose Cold Case and look what happened. Two failed shows, including Three Rivers.

Oh and they are signing Alex O'Loughlin for the remake of Hawaii 5-0? Really? :x

No it's not! I'm not joking Sarah! IMDb.com reported it and I was like you, thinking it was a joke but it is not.

Shame on them... Should we predict from now that it will fail too?

I give it... hmm, nine episodes before it's yanked.

Are we starting a betting pool on this? And what's the wager?

Y'know, if they had gone with the 2008 pitch for the show (ie, with the guy who showruns Criminal Minds as the showrunner for the remake), I probably woulda watched. Now? I might watch for the lawls.

Unrelated, but wtf? @fuggirls: "The Canadian national anthem is SO GOOD. It's so STIRRING and beautiful. I have been known to find myself randomly signing it. -J"

Uhhh... good to know that the Olympics are spreading plenty of Canadian goodwill? Apparently people really like the Saskatchewan pavilion's perogies, saskatoon tarts and buffalo burgers o.o

And Ukrainian and that general area, yeah. Saskatchewan is FULL of people from that area of Europe. Just about everyone is related to a Ukrainian even if it's just by marriage (my dad's youngest brother's wife is Ukrainian - also, my mom's side is from that area too).

Needless to say, perogies are a staple of Saskatchewanian diet. We're actually pretty diverse, food wise, since, as a sparsely populated farming province, we still get tons and tons of immigrants every year all of which bring in moar foods.

Huh... wonder why there's such a strong ethnic focus in the one area? (shrugs)

I've made perogies before.... they're quite good.

Cuz, when trying to get people into SK (which we're still trying to do), we target specific countries at specific times.

(snorts)

Back to the actual topic of the thread; TF was declared 'on the bubble' in an article released on Tuesday.

Happily, it shares that unfortunate status with CBasS's Medium, while it's seems that Numb3r's number is up.

I'm telling you. CBS made the wrong decisions last season.

Have you seen the numbers for CSI? They've come down this season drastically. And Cold Case is well, closed.

And don't even get me started on Three Rivers.
