I get the chapters out as fast as I can, but I work 40 plus hours a week so I have windows in the evening to write. About 2/3's of the next chapter is in rough form. Believe me you wouldn't be liking my writing as much as you do if I posted it too quickly.

Could just send SG a link to your stories. He'd probably have you hired in a heartbeat.

Finally got a chance to read it! (Sarah, if you mention the windows, I'll smack you. I was reading an epically long HP fic I didn't want to interrupt, 'kay? I'm not good at reading more than one fic at once... hence the ridiculous number of tabs I have open to ff.net) Awesome as always! And I can't wait until the next chapter, but I won't demand anything... I have no leg to stand on in that department.

I wasn't going to say anything about anything. It took me two weeks to read it, and I'm her beta!!!

But no, you really, really don't have a leg to stand on. Although I wish you DID.

 You're right as always. They'd be too proud if they had crap in their heads. They'd probably wouldn't use it anyway.

Ditto me! And I would make sure I recorded it somehow so I could watch it many, many times over. (thinks a second about what Latte and SG could accomplish working together and promptly faints)

:D Finally, finally, another chapter for Therapy Sessions. It's called Depression - Interludes. I really tried to cover depression in two chapters, one for Jacob and one for Rachel, but even Jade said Jacob's was 'a bit long'. And I am so glad she did. I had a great time writing this section and was glad to split it off rather than cut it.

Enjoy!

Lattelady....*bows down*

I finally got a chance to read your last two chapters and they were as wonderful as everything else you have done. I especially adored the phone chat as Rachel was on the swing. It is perhaps my favorite part of the story so far, and that is saying something as I have thoroughly enjoyed every single word.

As a matter of fact, my heart aches even more now as I have recently begun to really miss these two knowing that they will not be back this Fall. Even though that sounds like a bad thing, it is a testament to the strength and feeling found in your writing and I thank you so much for it. A big thank you to Sarah, as well.

I'm so glad you're enjoying it.

I think one of the reasons this story is going so much longer than planned is because EH won't be back in the fall. For me it is what could have been.

I'm really glad you liked the phone call on the swing. I think it is the lightest section so far. It was great fun to write and I was a bit afraid I'd gotten carried away with it.

I had hoped to pair it with the dark and twisty trip through Hood's emotions that is coming up, but it would have been too long a chapter.

Thanks for reading and letting me know what is working,

Phyllis

I said the exact same thing to Phyllis right at FFnet. I really enjoyed that scene. It was just wonderful.

And someone should be working on some ideas I sent, right?

Sarah, good job too.

LOL you guys just like the idea of Hood in high leather boots, a ruffled shirt open to his navel, a sash around his waist while he boards a burning ship.

Why do you think I went that far when I wrote it? In the first draft his shirt was simply ruffled. Maybe I should have put him into Goblin King type pants.

I guess I watched too many Errol Flynn movies as a kid.

:| Chapter 6 is up.

It has some darker moments as Hood works his way though his past in a therapy session. It turned out better than I thought it would.

In the picture below I have used Amy Brennerman as Maggie Hood's ghost. When I started the story, hers is the face that came to mind for Maggie,

Brilliant! :D

Great installment as always. Deep, meaningful, sad and intense. Wonderful way to delve deep into Hood. Thank you once again. I definitely do not want this one to end.
