When we set a date for the next Bruckheimer week, I'll see if I can't drag myself out from under RDBH long enough to write up a new chapter of MiH with a plea for support, but you can't post hyperlinks in the stories themselves, only author profiles (there is a link to the EHRC thread in my profile there). Stupid FF.net will delete active hyperlinks and email addies from stories - genuine pain in the arse if you're trying to link in a picture or reference page.

I've known about the hit charts for ages - they modified those to their current form a little over a year ago, I think? - and it had never occurred to me to use that as a selling point. Doubly stupid because MiH has had hits from Switzerland, Poland, Israel, Croatia, Russia, and Turkey, and that's just in the past month.

Wow... Wow, that's great.

I feel so useless for not coming here so often, what can I do to help?

Ah, Kel, you sneak! You're supposed to put your birthday in your profile so that everyone can harass you about it,   .

May this year be the best of your life, and every year following it be greater still.

If we do two a week...my vote would be one network and one cable...like USA and ABC or NBC and FOX...unless someone has some news or another plan!

Any objections?

If not, sounds good to me. If no one minds, I will set those 2 up later today/tomorrow.

I think I found some contact info (Iam not good at this) for the CW if we want to try it. Someone had made that suggestion. Here is what I found:
Dawn Ostroff-president
11800 Wilshire Blvd
Los Angeles CA 90025
Found an email of dawn ostroff@upn.com...a better one may be- feedback@cwtv.com (i have not tested these yet)
Another address:
CW Network LLC
4000 Warner Blvd
Burbank CA 91522

Still no luck on Jerry Bruckheimers e mail...so if anyone can figure it out let us know!

Great job kygal! Why don't you go ahead and give them a "test run" and, if they "pass", I can add that info to the CC.

I got a failure notice for dawnostroff@upn.com. Tried several ways.

Looks like feedback @ cwtv.com is valid though...no failures.

I guess its better than nothing!? This is a combined effort of CBS and WB I believe...but it wont hurt to try. Nothing to loose and will get the word out. I try to keep in mind that it has not been a year yet since the cancellation of EH was anounced...people still remember and comment on the show all the time around the web!

Darn! That is too bad. Well, we are nothing if not persistent!

Okay, I can add this to the CC and we can always add from there! :D

I do not understand why they did not give EH a second chance.
When X-files was shown here for the first time nobody watched it. But when the (I don’t know how you call it  ) ?television channel? repeated it, it became a great success.

Unfortunatly EH was on the wrong ?TV channel?.
If it would have been on another one, I think there would be more fans in germany working to get it back.
The show must go on

I agree...I first started watching EH because it WAS on after CSI ( I dont watch anymore)...then I was hooked and it was the only show I tried not to miss. I do agree another channel would have given it at least a second season with those numbers! Really feel CBS cheated us! When I watch my EH dvd...I think how could this show have been cancelled...it was so good and had so much potential...dont get me started!

You're both right. EH was in the wrong network. CBS never gave a damn about the show and never gave it any publicity of any kind.

If the show had been on another network and even with less viewers, let's say, 8-9 million, it would've been, if not a hit, one of the strongest shows.

But CBS... Well, I'll save my words because I'm still really really upset and angry at them.

And yes, X-files was on FOX and it began getting better numbers towards the end of season 2.

I think that most series, most strong ones in any case, will increase viewership during the second season, because you have returning viewers as well as the curious folks who have heard those loyal viewers waxing eloquent about how wonderful the series is. Gods know I talked people's ears off about EH while it was running, and continue to do so whenever I can get ahold of an ear for long enough - except now my commentary runs heavily towards CBasS's shortsightedness and the efforts of the Campaign to restore EH to the glory it should have had in the first place.

I don't know how the networks work in the USA. As far as I know CBS has a lot of good shows.
Here in Germany EH was on a network called Kabel1 and that network usually has movies and shows which are much older then 10 yeas. So people who are between 18 and 49 would never watch it.
And then the time. EH was on at Saturdays at 9pm. I used to record it but none of my friends even know about it. :x
All the other shows like CSI (LV, Miami, NY) and Bones and all the others are on the modern networks.
I’m angry because I think Kabel1 knew that there would be no second season. And not knowing about a show is much easier then to know that it is not continued.

… maybe… I’m a bit naive…but... Isn’t it possible, that when CBS doesn’t want EH to continue, maybe another network would do that?

Nope, not naive. Smart! To be frank, I am still flabbergasted that it was not immediately sought out by another network. Perhaps the conspiracy continues with that as well.

I keep telling you... alien lizards,

Because the other alternative is that EH got far too close to something far too true and someone is trying to hush it up because of that, and I'm not certain I want to contemplate the ramifications of that thought... 'Surge' comes to mind, somehow.
