For Sarah.

XD

So, yeah, discuss Omar Benson Miller. Or Felix. Whichever - we clearly don't really distinguish much here, XDD

Kalli, no death threats.

Ah, our special 6 foot 6 mouse. I have a soft spot for him and like how he added to the show without taking away from the H/R dynamic.

Indeed! I'm actually pretty surprised that they were able to add a third character so well!

I have to agree with you both.
It was nice to see him join the team and never see him interfere. Just the opposite, he's always helping and supporting Hood and Rachel.
Besides, he's learning so much from both of them and it's like he admires them for the work they've done.

And yes Kalli, no death threats :)

Aw, no death threats..??? ........................(no comment on Mr.Lee.)

Well actually I liked his role in the season finale, when he recorded the family taking care of Sofia's son. Because that was important to not let Sofia interfere with the shippy-ness in the diner (and Jacob stroking Rachel's hair, whispering, "Okay, keep your eyes open, keep your eyes open. Stake awake, okay?") Oh, that was my favorite scene in the whole Season...

EDIT (Nikki): Double posting again, Kalli?

See, and that's why Felix exists, Kalli. To go do the stuff that's boring or needs a third man to do.

It is inappropriate to give orders to a Canadian Girl. They do not respond well to directions. Canadian Girls do as they please. Rebels? Remember they have powers!

It is nice to see all you girls got this one right and you are all on the same page.

Yeah, on the CBS board it's fine since, well, it's broken and it wouldn't even let me edit things, XD

You know what Kalli? I read somewhere that he will be Hood's handler next season, while Rachel recovers.

Thank you Nikki!!!

(chuckles) I admit, the first time Felix walked on screen, my immediate response was 'WTF, they're saddling Hood and Rachel with this idiot?' But within even a few minutes, I (much like Hood and Rachel) found myself impressed with Felix's competence. He is very skilled at finding information for their cases, personable enough not to put off their witnesses and suspects, and far more intelligent than first impressions would suggest. Plus, he's that kind of sweet that I think of for boys who carry your books in high school because it's the nice thing to do, not because they're trying to tap your... NVM.

I recall one scene, where Felix is talking to H&R on the cell, and sends GPS directions to the... I think it's the dairy farm? directly to their SatNav unit, and Rachel's surprised comment to Hood, "I didn't know you could do that."

Yes, Sarah, It's in Minimata and that was a very good thing to do. He was being proactive. He's very competent.
I was ok with his addition because I had read he was going to be on the show for only three episodes. But when I saw more of him I thought that I was going to miss him. Then we all learned that Marley was pregnant and he was going to stay for the rest of the season.
I just hope he doesn't leave when 'Rachel recovers'.

I'm hoping they keep him on as well. He's an asset to the team, and compliments both Hood and Rachel very well without overshadowing either of them. It took me about five minutes to go from shaking my head in disbelief to genuinely liking his character. I also think they made the right decision with bringing someone in who seems the complete antithesis to both Hood and Rachel, so that we have a very solid team where one person's weak spots will always be covered by another member of the group.

I was leery about the guy for the entire episode - thought he was entertaining but wasn't sure if he'd be worth it in the long run.

The episode after that one, though, eliminated all my fears, XD

And in other news, Nic Cage, lead actor in Omar's upcoming movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice, hired a voodoo priestess to rid the movie of a curse after two car accidents in two days caused injuries to eleven bystanders and crewmen.

Gotta wonder what Felix would have to say about that one...

...cause it was written for tab-rags and the people that read those have the IQ's of a rock? Or it was for international publication and some countries don't believe in SUV's or have different terminology for them, perhaps....

Yeah, but nobody respects the international readers!

The stupid people, though, articles cater to them. Totally not cool.

I thought you didn't like him anyway?

As for his role, I'm looking on the IMDb page for the movie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0963966/), and Omar is listed under 'Other Cast', without a character name, so I'm not quite sure what's going on with that.

I saw that he had joined the cast from a post by one of our own over on FB. Not sure how I feel about it one way or another, really. I am very glad for OBM though. And I am not worried that we couldn't get him back to EH if need be. Wonder if JB liked him from EH and hooked him up? Hate that he has to be back on The Evil Eye. But that is just me being petty. :P
