Hopefully, good sales in the US via the Manufacture-on-Demand program (possibly the most idiotic thing I've ever heard of, after CBasS's earlier decision) will change their minds on both the wide-release and the international sales.

For those of you also in the US who do not yet have the link, you can pre-order the DVDs here: http://www.wbshop.com/The-Eleventh-Hour ... ARCHIVEPRE

If you are able to do so, PLEASE put in your order as soon as possible. Good sales on the DVD can only help our cause!

Should be getting mine the end of this week or early next...CAN'T WAIT. It is a shame some EH fans will have to wait, but hopefully sales will be good. As has been said...good sales will help our campaign and expand the dvd release area. I do think it will be available on amazon at some point. I may call in sick to work when the dvd comes..just kidding...CBS may have me cancelled if i do..ha ha.......

I certainly know what I'm doing that Sunday (my only day off...) Wonder how many episodes I can fit in one day between taking care of the animals and occasional meal breaks? Probably at least fifteen....

Oh. Wow. Fifteen straight hours of Rufus. And Rufus/Marley chemistry. (dies)

I did that over the Christmas break last year. Except it was 12 cuz that's how many episodes were aired then.

When I ordered the DVD the expected arrival date was th 23d. I've already taken the day off work! Plan to have an EH marathon that day. I can NOT wait! My only regret is that so many fans will not be able to purchase the DVD. I've already sent in emails to WB asking them why they don't want to make as much money as possible from this product! Hopefully this will get a wider release soon.

I have read how dissapointed some of you are because you cannot purchase copies of the EH DVD. One suggestion would be to partner with someone that can purchase it for you. I don't know the logistics of how this would work, but any ideas are welcomed. This process would increase the DVD sales and hopefully help our cause.

The total cost of the DVD including shipping and sales tax in the US is $44.59. The issue would be getting it to the person that requested the purchase

P.S. to the previous message.

I don't know if it's just me, but CBS and Warner Bros. must have an EH agenda that we don't know about . First they remove a successful show from the air and now they are limiting their DVD sales potential. :?:

I agree with love11 and my EHSM Kel.
If they think they can still take the show away from us, they're wrong.

We always promoted the show and we can still do it, so let's make it happen.

I'm buying mine ASAP. Can't wait.

The only disadvantage I can see to partner-purchasing the DVDs is that I expect they are zoned Region 1 (USA/Canada) only, so anyone out of country wishing to buy them would need either a region-free DVD player or a computer with a compatible DVD drive.

The partner-purchase would be easy enough, though; Paypal, which is an international e-pay service and the payment method of choice on sites like eBay, would make it easy to transfer money from out-of-country buyer to in-country partner if both of them have or are willing to get an account.

Mmm, but can you get payments on a standard (ie, free) paypal account? It's been awhile since I signed up so I can't exactly remember...

....I think so? Dunno. Can't see why not, at any rate. Though what would seem obvious and practical to me is usually obscure to the nth degree to the rest of the world.

Edit: Fweeee~! Just got an email from WB saying my order has shipped! Come the 26th, I am having an EH marathon, baby!

Mine is on the way, but I am so pissed! When I ordered it, WB gave me a delivery date of 10/23. So I've been planning an EH marathon, even took the day off work! Now the email says delivery date of 10/26. And there is no way I can get out of work Monday. I've been obsessively checking the tracking info on UPS all day. I'm hoping that the DVD will arrive Saturday. I don't think I can stand the wait.

(laughs) Joyce, we are sooooo in the same boat. Due to various Real Life stuff (ugh. Why can't we all live in a fanfiction world?) I won't get time to watch it (at least not the marathon-watching I had hoped) until the next Sunday. Boooooo.

Wish I could've found express shipping on there... I woulda paid....

It just so happens I had you in mind. I was so excited to see it. I also figured that I could enter and, if I won, try and see if someone that couldn't buy it could have it. We'll see! :D
