I could not believe my eyes and ears when I saw the trailer for another new Bruckheimer show on CBS. If we are going to continue to approach CBS regarding Eh, I think this would be a great time to talk to them about our lack of support for this new series. No one has any loyalty to the show because it's new. I also think we need to CC JB on our letters. I'm sorry, but I don't think JB gives a S--- about EH. I could be wrong, after all, he can't dictate to the network.
However, he is not starving and the return of EH is not going to hurt him one way or the other. I have an e-mail list of over 45 friends. We send each other items from time to time. We have decided that we will each take our individual email lists and have them use their list and so on, and so on, to write to CBS to 1. Discuss our dissapointment that EH was ommited from their fall line-up; 2. Their lack of response to the veiwer's dissapointment; 3. Our lack of support that we will give to the new JB show and ony other issues with that they want to "share" with CBS regarding EH in non-vulgar manner.
We are not developing a form letter, each person will "vent", if you will, in their own way. I have to say that I am probably the oldest pereson on this forum. I ran a subsidiary of a large telecommunictions company (SBC) for over 34 years with budgets of about $35,000,000 +. I know about business. In fact, My customers were the very large accounts in a five state area and you know who got results when they felt we weren't giving them the service they thought they deserved? The customers who complained the loudest and the most often as far up the chain as they could go.
The old adage about the "sqeaking cog gets the oil" is an old adage, because it's true.
