Anyone heard of GO! or Nine Network? Read this, EH was in the lineup as of last July.

I could not believe my eyes and ears when I saw the trailer for another new Bruckheimer show on CBS. If we are going to continue to approach CBS regarding Eh, I think this would be a great time to talk to them about our lack of support for this new series. No one has any loyalty to the show because it's new. I also think we need to CC JB on our letters. I'm sorry, but I don't think JB gives a S--- about EH. I could be wrong, after all, he can't dictate to the network.

However, he is not starving and the return of EH is not going to hurt him one way or the other. I have an e-mail list of over 45 friends. We send each other items from time to time. We have decided that we will each take our individual email lists and have them use their list and so on, and so on, to write to CBS to 1. Discuss our dissapointment that EH was ommited from their fall line-up; 2. Their lack of response to the veiwer's dissapointment; 3. Our lack of support that we will give to the new JB show and ony other issues with that they want to "share" with CBS regarding EH in non-vulgar manner.

We are not developing a form letter, each person will "vent", if you will, in their own way. I have to say that I am probably the oldest pereson on this forum. I ran a subsidiary of a large telecommunictions company (SBC) for over 34 years with budgets of about $35,000,000 +. I know about business. In fact, My customers were the very large accounts in a five state area and you know who got results when they felt we weren't giving them the service they thought they deserved? The customers who complained the loudest and the most often as far up the chain as they could go.

The old adage about the "sqeaking cog gets the oil" is an old adage, because it's true.

Sounds good to me..the more help we can get the better. Maybe we can coordinate our e mails and letters with when you and your friends are sending them out. We did send mass letters to JB about a month ago...we really would like his e mail if anyone can get it. I have always thought we had a good argument with CBS because EH did well in the ratings and was watched! We sent e mails to CBS last week but I think we can hit them again especially if we have large numbers of people joining in...I think it is decision time at some of the networks right now.

Kel...what do you think about coordinating the e mails?

I am heading out of town in am to pick up my snow bird parents and drive them home...I will be without a computer for a few days but will catch up when I get back on monday.

Keep up the good work!

Sorry to say that TNT isn't doing so well with Southland. http://www.thrfeed.com/2010/03/tnts-southland-gets-modest-start.html It's not a show I watched, but it would have been nice to be able to point to a succesful transition from network to cable. And since we just had them, maybe we should give them a break (although we could go with, "Good idea, TNT, you just chose the wrong series").

I've noticed SyFy (still SciFi) in Russia is going to run the first season of EH. http://board.satportal.to/general/45308-april-rebrand-sci-fi-uk.html

So maybe SyFY US is a good target?

When we do hit TNT again, I think Rue has the right idea - point out that EH had much, much better numbers on CBS than Southland had on NBC. Plus, Southland was panned by the reviewers in the major papers. What Southland had going for it was that the producer really went to bat for the show with the TNT brass.

Has anyone heard anything about HathoRNe on TNT? I haven't heard a word about either it or the Jerry Bruckheimer show (True Blue? Something Blue?) that premired last summer. Seems that TNT has not been able to repeat the success of The Closer and Saving Grace. Maybe they need to seriously think about reviving a show that was a proven performer.

Hey everyone, long time no see!

EHFan, actually DARK Blue was renewed for a second season on TNT and it had decent numbers, not a good as Leverage but still enough to get renewed.

It would be a good pair with Eleventh Hour.

Love the plan...CBS and SF then TNT! Not sure how I feel about the Southland thing...could help or hinder...but agree they did this with the wrong show. Please listen to us!

Yeah this was the Australian network that showed the series down here. It's where I saw EH.

Not all that sure they would be interested in going it alone, though.

Heading to Fla tonight late to watch my sons high school baseball team play during spring break. Hope its not all work and no play! Wont have a computer so I wont be around for a week. You guys behave! I will catch up with The Planet when I get back.

Do we want to try another letter to JB...sometime in May? I know his new show Miami Medical starts soon. Anyway...keep up the good work!

Oh, some nice EH fanfics would be great to come back to...hint...hint!

We're working on that, But.. behave??? That takes all the fun out of it!!!

And, yes, if we can set a date for the next Bruckheimer week well enough ahead of time, we can plug it more thoroughly; getting our word out on dA, ff.net and maybe even YouTube certainly wouldn't hurt.

Have a great trip!

Interesting article on USA's 'character formula.' It's not a 100% fit for our EH team, but we could swing it that way easily enough...

Very interesting article! And our favorite eccentric scientist would fit right in with their quirky characters, wouldn't he? I had been thinking that the tone of EH might have to lighten up if USA picked it up, but L&O:CI certainly is pretty dark, as is In Plain Sight.

Ha! Hey kygal *grin* I'm working on that. 10 chapters and counting - but I never post until I'm done. I'm glad to see that people are still reading those fictions. I was afraid that I would post the story and no one would read it. I've never written a story that's so long before! =) Keep up the good work guys!

To say nothing of Burn Notice! I've always thought USA would be a good fit for EH, so yeah, let's work on them next week.

And Tigerlily124 - what a tease you are! You have 10 chapters written? And you won't post until you're all done?????

Back from Fla. Great weather(for once) and good baseball (won 4 of 5 games)
Do we want to try another letter to JB? If so,thought it may be a good idea to do another letter to JB in May. The show was officially cancelled May 19...thought that might be a good time for JB to recieve our second round of letters. We really never have gotten any responses but I guess our goal at this time is to make sure the powers that be know there is still fan interest and support for EH. Maybe we can try to get help from other EH fan sites again. Still upset EH never got any help from any of the producers or others associated with the show to keep it on or find it another home . Maybe someday SG can work some magic.

Still not watching much CBS and having trouble bonding with any other new shows. With that said, how do you all think Miami Medical will do. Have seen lots of ads for it but not to many good write ups...not that those mean much. I guess time will tell.

May be a good idea to change to ph emails as suggested...anything to try to get through...I am game.
